Silvertip season is here.

November marks the start of the north-east monsoon - and the most reliable silvertip aggregations of the year at Rasdhoo Atoll Wall. Our early-morning divers have been seeing schools of 20-40 silvertips every single day this week.

Student Story

From zero to Open Water in 3 days.

This week we certified three first-time divers from scratch - including a complete beginner who had never put her face underwater before. By day three she was comfortably exploring the reef at 15 metres. Those moments remind us why we do this.

Freediving

Why Rasdhoo is a freediver's paradise.

Flat calm water, 28 -C temperature, 20+ metre visibility and a wall that drops from 5 m to 30 m - the conditions here for breath-hold diving are rare anywhere in the world. Our SSI Level 1 students are regularly hitting 15 m by the end of day two.

We have been running coral transplantation workshops as part of our ongoing reef restoration effort. Our Divemaster interns and specialty students are directly involved in rebuilding sections of the reef affected by bleaching events in recent years.
